| Mercedes M-Class |
|
| The Mercedes-Benz M-Class 4
x 4 SUV was launched in the United Kingdom
market in 1998 and has proved very popular
since then. Mercedes-Benz' other 4 x 4, the
G-Wagon had been around for many years before
then but had never really managed to break
into the mainstream market. The M-Class comes
with a range of engine sizes from 3L to 5.5L
and there is also an AMG 6.3L V8 version.
The vehicle is provided with a range of safety
features including Downhill Speed Regulation
(DSR), Four-wheel electronic traction system
(4ETS) and Electronic Stability Programme
(ESP®) with Acceleration Skid Control
(ASR). |
