| The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is
the company's mainstay large executive saloon.
The E is origionally derived from the German
"Einspritzmotor" which means "fuel-injection"
but has now come to identify a particular
body- size and styling. The E-Class comes
in a range of body-versions incuding the standard
4-door saloon, estate, 2-door coupe and a
2-door convertible. Both petrol and diesel
engines are available with capacities ranging
from 2 - 5.4L and there is also an AMG version
with a 6.2L, 525hp V8 engine. |
