| Mercedes C-Class |
|
| The Mercedes-Benz C-Class saloon
was introduced in 1993 as a replacement for
the 190 and quickly acquired the title "Baby
Benz". Until the introduction or the
A- and B-Class hatchbacks the C-Class was
Mercedes-Benz most affordable vehicle. The
C-Class now comes in both 4-door saloon and
5-door estate versions with both petrol and
diesel engines ranging from 1.6L 4-cylinder
to a 6.2L V8 in the AMG models. Transmission
options include 6-speed manual, 5-speed automatic
and 7-speed 7G-Tronic automatic on the top-of-the-range
models. |
